Magazine Gap Road is a winding road on the affluent and ultra-expensiveMid-Levels andthe Peak on theHong Kong Island inHong Kong. It is one of the main access leading to the Peak area.
It starts low fromRobinson Road andGarden Road. It runs east and uphill and meetsBowen Road andMay Road. It continues and meets the junction withCoombe Road andPeak Road atMagazine Gap [sv;yue]. It ends ina peak nearby [yue], wherea Chureido Pagoda [yue], a Japanese war shrine, was built during Japanese occupation of the territory between 1941 and 1945. It was destroyed in 1947, shortly after theLiberation of Hong Kong.
With road connections nearby, vehicles can reach either north or south of the island through roads inWan Chai Gap andWong Nai Chung Gap.
The entire road is inCentral and Western District.
