Career

She has lectured in law and governance atTechnological University Dublin.^[3] She is a barrister and was called to the bar in 1998.^[4]

O'Connell was a member ofDún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council from 2019 to 2024 for theStillorgan area.^[5]^[6]

She is married to fellow Fine Gael TDColm Brophy.^[3]
