Maeandropolis orMaiandroupolis (Ancient Greek:Μαιανδρούπολις), also known asMaeandrus orMaiandros (Μαίανδρος), was a town ofancient Ionia in the territory ofMagnesia on the Maeander.[1] Its name reflects association with theMaeander River, on which it was situated. It was a member of theDelian League.[2]

Its site is tentatively located nearSöke,Aydın Province,Turkey.[3][4]
