Madeleine "Maddie" Zimmer (born September 28, 2001)[1] is an Americanfield hockey player, who plays as a midfielder and forward.[2]
Zimmer was born in Owatonna, Minnesota and raised inHershey, Pennsylvania.[3][2]
She is a student atNorthwestern University.[4][5]
Zimmer is a former player for theAlley Cats hockey team.[6]
Junior national team
[edit]Zimmer made her debut for theUnited States U–21 team in 2019, during a test series againstGermany, held inViersen andMönchengladbach.[7]
She followed this up with an appearance at the2021 Pan American Junior Championship inSantiago.[8]
Senior national team
[edit]Following her debut for the junior national team, Zimmer made her senior debut later that year during a test series againstCanada inLancaster.[7]
She is currently in the seniornational squad.[9]
