MTV Poland is thePolish-language version of the general entertainment channelMTV. It was launched on July 7, 2000, replacing local music channelAtomic TV. The channel is operated byParamount Networks EMEAA from its headquarters inWarsaw.

The channel broadcasts a number of programming in Polish with either subtitled or dubbed programming from the American and British versions of MTV. The channel is complemented by the local Polish channelMTV Music.

On July 17, 2012, the channel started to broadcast in16:9 picture format. The channel was till 17 February 2021 under the jurisdiction of Dutch broadcasting regulator Commissariaat Voor De Media.[1] Since February 2021, MTV Polska has used a broadcasting license from the Czech Republic of RRTV.[2]
