MLS Soccer Sunday is a presentation ofMajor League Soccer produced independently byESPN andFox Sports. Sunday afternoons are primarily aired onABC andFox while Sunday evenings primarily onESPN,ESPN2, andFox Sports 1. Spanish-language simulcasts are broadcast onESPN Deportes andFox Deportes.

As part of the current broadcast agreement between Major League Soccer and its network partners,^[1]ESPN Networks andFox Sports each contracted to broadcast 34 weekly matches in an assigned broadcast window. In addition to the weekly broadcast window, each broadcast group gained the right to transmit their broadcasts on their respective digital broadcast service.^[1]

Additionally,ESPN Networks was granted the right to develop anover-the-top content (OTT) service consisting of all out-of-market broadcasts of any MLS match not part of theMLS Soccer Sunday broadcasts nor those ofViernes de Fútbol, the Friday evening presentation of MLS on the networks ofUnivision.^[1] Although the service was intended to begin with the 2015 MLS season in the first year of the new agreement,ESPN decided it could not logistically offer the service that year and MLS continued to offer itsMLS Live digital service as it had previous seasons.^[2]

MLS Soccer Sunday is telecast primarily onESPN orESPN2 in the 5 p.m.Eastern Time Zone broadcast window orABC at 3 p.m. ET. Most matches are simulcast live onESPN Deportes.^{[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20]} The first broadcast on March 8, 2015, was the home opener ofOrlando City SC and fellow expansion sideNew York City FC. The match, which ended in a 1–1 tie, was broadcast from theCitrus Bowl inOrlando, Florida before a crowd of 62,510 spectators.^{[21][22][23][24]}

English-language and Spanish-language feeds are carried onESPN3.^[1]

MLS Soccer Sunday is telecast primarily onFS1 andFox Deportes in the 7 p.m. Eastern Time Zone broadcast window orFox at 3 p.m. ET.^{[1][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32]} The first broadcast on March 8, 2015, was the first match of a doubleheader featuringSporting Kansas City and theNew York Red Bulls^[25][33] followed bySeattle Sounders FC andNew England Revolution.^[34]
