TheM10 is ametropolitan route in theCity of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality, South Africa.[1][2] It connects the town ofBellville withPhilippi on theCape Flats.[3][4]
The M10 begins at a junction with theR102 (Voortrekker Road) inBellville Central. It begins by heading southwards as Robert Sobukwe Drive through Bellville South to reach a junction with theM189, where it continues by a right turn (still named Robert Sobukwe Drive). The M10 continues south-west, bypassingBelhar, to reach a junction with theM12 (Stellenbosch Arterial). It continues south-west, bypassingBishop Lavis, to meet the northern terminus of theM22, which provides an entrance toCape Town International Airport.
From the M22 junction, the M10 continues west through the Nooitgedacht suburb to reach an interchange with theN2 highway (Settlers Way), where it turns to the south. It passes through theHeideveld andNyanga suburbs to reach its end at an interchange with theM7 freeway (Jakes Gerwel Drive) inPhilippi, just north of itsHorticultural Area.
