M. D. R. Ramachandran (31 January 1934 – 8 December 2024) was an Indian politician. He served asChief Minister of Pondicherry from 1980 to 1983 and from 1990 to 1991, and as Speaker of thePondicherry Legislative Assembly from 2001 to 2006. Born on 31 January 1934,[1][2] he died on 8 December 2024, at the age of 90.[3][4]
