Müggel Lacus is one of a number ofhydrocarbon seas and lakes found on Saturn's largest moon,Titan.[1]
The lake is located atlatitude 84.44°N andlongitude 203.5°W onTitan's globe,[2] and is composed of liquidmethane andethane,[3] With adiameter of 170 km, it is the fifth largest of Titan's named lakes. It is named afterMüggelsee inBerlin, Germany, the term being adopted by theIAU on Dec 3, 2013.[2]
