Luis Ceferino Hernández Morales (born August 26, 1955) is a retiredlong-distance runner fromMexico. He claimed the gold medal at the1975 Pan American Games in the Men's 10,000 metres, and represented his native country the following year at the1976 Summer Olympics inMontréal, Canada.

Running for theBYU Cougars track and field team, Hernández won the 19773 miles at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships in a time of 13:20.55.[1]
