Lucas "Masterpieces" Moripe Stadium is amulti-purpose stadium located inAtteridgeville, atownship ofPretoria,South Africa. With a capacity to host 28,900 spectators, it is currently used mostly forsoccer matches and serves as part-time home stadium ofPremiership clubsMamelodi Sundowns and, previously,SuperSport United.[3]
The stadium was named after former local soccer playerLucas Moripe. Until 2010 the stadium was known asSuper Stadium.[4]
TheGermany national football team used it as a training venue during the2010 FIFA World Cup.
