Lu Min (Chinese:鲁珉; November 12, 1926 – December 21, 2000) was aMiG-15 pilot of thePeople's Republic of China. Born inLongkou, Shandong Province, he was aflying ace during theKorean War, with eight victories.[1]
He was a member of the12th Fighter Aviation Division.[2] He was laterpurged due to alleged connections with MarshalLin Biao'scoup attempt againstMao Zedong.[3]
Although all Chinese aces have received the titleCombat Hero in acknowledgement of their services,[4] very little information is known of the Chinese pilots during the war due to the lack of published records.
Lu Min died on December 21, 2000.[5]
