Lozovaya Rudka (Russian:Лозовая Рудка;Ukrainian:Лозова Рудка) is arural settlement (khutor) inBorisovsky District inBelgorod Oblast of westernRussia, at some hundred metres northwards ofthe Ukrainian border.[1][2]
On 12 March 2024, duringan incursion,Freedom of Russia Legion,Russian Volunteer Corps andSibir Battalion claimed to have gained control of the settlement,[2] and issued a joint statement the following day (some days beforeRussian presidential election on 15–17 March 2024) urging "...everyone to leave the cities immediately...".[3]
