Louis Dugauguez (21 February 1918 – 22 September 1991) was a Frenchfootball player and manager.

Playing career

Dugauguez played amateur football forBully [fr],Béthune [fr],Lens,Toulouse, Carvin andSedan, where he began his coaching career as a player-coach of the side.

Coaching career

Dugauguez managedSedan and led the team to success inCoupe de France twice, in1956 and1961. In 1967, he becameFrance national team manager, but his stint was short and unsuccessful.[2]

Sedan'sstadium is named after him.[3]
