Lophogallus is agenus of prehistoricphasianid which is known from theOshin Formation during the middleMiocene. It is known from the holotype humerus and a referred partial femur, both from the type locality of Naran Bulak,Mongolia.[1] It was described by N. V. Zelenkov andE. N. Kurochkin in2010, and the type species isLophogallus naranbulakensis.[1]
