Constituency of the National Assembly of France
The 6th constituency of theLoire (French:Sixième circonscription de la Loire) is a French legislativeconstituency in the Loiredépartement. Like the other 576 French constituencies, it elects oneMP using atwo round electoral system.
The 6th constituency of theLoire covers the central parts of the department to the north ofSaint-Etienne.
Long serving conservative deputyPascal Clément stepped down at the 2012 election, his successor,Paul Salen was defeated in2017 in the second round run off byJulien Borowczyk ofEn Marche!
