TheLogan Thunder was an Australian professional women'sbasketball team competing in theWomen's National Basketball League (WNBL). The team was based inLogan,Queensland.[1]

History

The Logan Thunder started in 2008 replacingNew Zealand-based teamChristchurch Sirens. They were the first team to representSouth East Queensland in over 10 years.[citation needed] Thunder withdrew from the 2014/15 WNBL season due to financial difficulties and the team later folded.[2][3]
