Inanatomy, alobe is a clear anatomical division or extension[1] of anorgan (as seen for example in thebrain,lung,liver, orkidney) that can be determined without the use of amicroscope at thegross anatomy level. This is in contrast to the much smallerlobule, which is a clear division only visibleunder the microscope.[2]

Interlobar ducts connect lobes andinterlobular ducts connect lobules.
