Lobor is avillage andmunicipality in theKrapina-Zagorje County, northernCroatia.

In the 2011 census, there were a total of 3,188 inhabitants in the area, in the followingsettlements:[3]

In the same census, 98.96% of the population wereCroats.[4]

History

During the first year of theWorld War II, theUstaše established a concentration camp in Lobor, also known asLoborgrad concentration camp, forJewish andSerb women and children.[5][6] At least 200 of them died in it.[7]

On 13 April 2023,World Rally Championship driverCraig Breen died in an accident on a road between Lobor and Stari Golubovec during the Hyundai private testing before the2023 Croatia Rally.[8]
