Liza Sadovy is a British actress. She is best known forSweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007),Prime Suspect 3 (1993) andCompany (1996).^[1] Other television work includesExtras with Ricky Gervais,Midsomer Murders,Babylon,The Honourable Woman,Doctors,EastEnders,Emma,^[2]A Small Light andVera. Sadovy had a supporting role in the 2024 filmA Real Pain.

Sadovy went to drama school in the late 1970s.^[2]

Sadovy has appeared in numerous theatrical productions in London and New York.^[3] Most notably as Madame Morrible inWicked, Lucinda inInto the Woods, Yvonne inSunday in the Park with George, and most recently as Fräulein Schneider inCabaret, for which she won theOlivier Award forBest Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical.
