In 2014, Daddio signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to theWWE Performance Center, later appearing indevelopmental brandNXT under the Liv Morgan ring name. She was promoted to the main roster in 2017 and was paired withRuby Riott andSarah Logan to form the stablethe Riott Squad. After the stable disbanded in 2019, she became a singles competitor. After a few months of her singles run, she reunited with the returning Riott. They performed together until Riott's release in 2021. In 2022, Morgan won the Women'sMoney in the Bank ladder match and cashed in the same night, defeatingRonda Rousey to win the SmackDown Women's Championship, the first title in her wrestling career. In 2023, she formed ateam with Raquel Rodriguez and they have since won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship a record-setting four times as a team.
Daddio is a longtime fan ofprofessional wrestling, and would participate inbackyard wrestling with her siblings.[10] She has described the matches as core to start her foray into wrestling:
I would literally takepedigrees andpowerbombs like it was my job. I always pretended to beLita. All theDivas were so glamorous and girly, and I was such a tomboy and didn't have nice clothes. When I saw Lita come out in baggy pants and sneakers, wrestling the boys, I thought she was the coolest thing ever. I related to her.[10]
Daddio was a former competitivecheerleader,[4] and worked and modelled for the restaurant chainHooters. There, she met her former partnerEnzo Amore, who got her in touch with a wrestling gym and WWE.[12][13]
In 2014, after being discovered at Joe DeFranco's gym inWyckoff, New Jersey,[10] Daddio signed a contract withWWE, assigning her to theirdevelopmental territory,NXT in October 2014.[12] She made her first televised appearance at theNXT TakeOver: Rival pay-per-view on February 11, 2015, as aplanted fan who jumped onTyler Breeze during his entrance.[14] She appeared atNXT TakeOver: Unstoppable on May 20, again as part of Breeze's entrance.[15] In October 2015, she began working as aface singles wrestler. Initially performing under thering name "Marley",[3] Daddio made her in-ring debut on the November 4 episode ofNXT, where she worked as ajobber and lost toEva Marie.[16]
On the December 2 episode ofNXT, Daddio made her return under the new ring name "Liv Morgan", losing toEmma.[2] On the January 13, 2016, episode ofNXT, Morgan competed in abattle royal to determine the number one contender toBayley'sNXT Women's Championship, which was won byCarmella.[17] On the August 31 episode ofNXT, Morgan picked up her first televised singles win, defeatingAliyah.[18] She later began a rivalry withthe Iconic Duo (Billie Kay andPeyton Royce), with both women confronting her following her match, leading to a match between Morgan and Kay two weeks later, which Kay won after interference by Royce.[19] She then competed against Royce on the November 16 episode ofNXT, which ended in a disqualification after Kay interfered in the match, attacking Morgan and Aliyah untilEmber Moon made the save.[20] The three faced off in a six-person tag team match against Kay, Royce, and Daria Berenato on the November 23 episode ofNXT, with Morgan's team coming out victorious.[21]
On April 16, the Riott Squad were drafted toRawbrand as part of the2018 WWE Superstar Shake-up, and caused the match betweenBayley andSasha Banks to end in ano contest.[26] At the inaugural all women's pay-per-viewEvolution on October 28, the Riott Squad lost to Natalya, Bayley and Sasha Banks.[27][28] On January 27, 2019, atRoyal Rumble, Morgan participated in the women's Royal Rumble match, only to be the first to be eliminated after lasting 8 seconds, setting the record for the shortest time in the women's Royal Rumble match.[29] Morgan and Logan competed in a six-teamElimination Chamber match for the inauguralWWE Women's Tag Team Championship at thenamesake pay-per-view on February 17, where they were the third team eliminated byNia Jax andTamina.[30] Morgan competed atWrestleMania 35 on April 7 in a women's battle royal match that was eventually won by Carmella.[31]
On April 16, Morgan was moved to theSmackDown brand as part of theSuperstar Shake-up, effectively dissolving the Riott Squad in the process.[32][33] On the July 16 episode ofSmackDown, Morgan turnedface when she confronted Charlotte Flair and faced her in a match, in which Morgan lost by submission.[34]
On the October 14 episode ofRaw, Morgan was the final overall pick ofthe year's draft, being drafted back to the Raw brand.[35] Throughout the month of December,vignettes aired promoting Morgan's return.[36][37] Morgan returned to television on the December 30 episode ofRaw, duringBobby Lashley andLana's storyline wedding, interrupting the proceedings and professing her love for Lana.[38] After Lana subsequently attacked her, she aligned herself withRusev, who had been feuding with Lana and Lashley, thus cementing her face turn.[39] Morgan defeated Lana on the January 27, 2020, episode ofRaw,[40] doing so once again the following week. After her feud with Lana ended, Morgan entered a feud with her former Riott Squad teammateRuby Riott who turned on her upon returning.[41] On the March 2 episode ofRaw, Morgan defeated Riott withSarah Logan as the special guest referee.[42] AtElimination Chamber on March 8, Morgan entered her secondElimination chamber match, during which she was eliminated by eventual winnerShayna Baszler.[43] On theWrestleMania 36 pre-show on April 5, Morgan defeated Natalya.[44] AfterWrestleMania, Morgan continued her feud with Riott and defeated her on the April 20 and 27 episodes ofRaw respectively.[45][46]
After Morgan lost to Natalya on the June 22 episode ofRaw, Ruby Riott attempted to console Morgan backstage after her loss, which she rebuffed.[47] On the August 3 episode ofRaw, Riott asked Morgan to join her in reforming the Riott Squad, only to be interrupted bythe IIconics, who mocked the two; this led to a tag team match where Morgan and Riott defeated the IIconics.[48] AtPayback on August 30, Morgan and Riott (now officially known as the Riott Squad again) defeated the IIconics[49] and once more the following night on Raw, forcing the IIconics to disband, per stipulation.[50]
As part of the2020 Draft in October, Morgan and Riott were drafted to the SmackDown brand.[51] She won afatal four-way match during her first night on SmackDown after the Draft to qualify for the women's team atSurvivor Series on November 22,[52][53] in which she and her brand partners lost.[54] They challenged for a shot at the Women's Tag Team Championship on the first night ofWrestleMania 37 on April 10, but failed to win the match.[55] Riott was released by WWE on June 2, 2021, effectively disbanding the Riott Squad for the second time.[56]
On the June 13 episode ofRaw, Morgan and Alexa Bliss defeatedDoudrop andNikki A.S.H. to qualify for the women'sMoney in the Bank ladder match.[71] At theevent on July 2, Morgan won the Money in the Bank contract, granting her a women's championship match at any time of her choosing. Later that night, following theSmackDown Women's Championship match betweenNatalya andRonda Rousey, Morgan cashed in her contract on the latter to win the title, making her the third woman and fifth superstar to successfully cash-in the Money in the Bank contract the same night after winning it.[72] A rematch between Morgan and Rousey was set forSummerSlam on July 30,[73] where Morgan controversially retained the title; Morgan tapped out to Rousey's armbar, but the referee had counted Rousey's shoulders down, giving the pinfall win to Morgan. After the match, both Morgan and the referee were attacked by Rousey.[74] AtClash at the Castle on September 3, Morgan retained the title againstShayna Baszler.[75] Rousey won afatal five-way elimination match on the September 9 episode ofSmackDown, earning a rematch against Morgan atExtreme Rules.[76] The following week, Morgan challenged Rousey to anExtreme Rules match for the title, which Rousey accepted.[77][78] At the event on October 8, Morgan lost the SmackDown Women's Championship back to Rousey, ending her reign at 98 days.[79]
Morgan entered the women's Royal Rumble match at thetitular event on January 28, 2023. She entered at #2 and lasted over one hour before being the last one eliminated by the match's winner and first entrantRhea Ripley; Ripley and Morgan hence eclipsedBianca Belair's record of 56:52 set at the2021 Royal Rumble, with official times of 1:01:08 and 1:01:07 respectively.[80] She then took part in the women'sElimination Chamber match at thetitular event on February 18, but was eliminated byNatalya andAsuka.[81] At Night 2 ofWrestleMania 39, Morgan teamed withRaquel Rodriguez to take part in the women's WrestleMania Showcasefatal four-way tag team match, which was won byRonda Rousey andShayna Baszler.[82] The following night onRaw, Morgan teamed with Rodriguez to defeatDamage CTRL in a number one contenders match for theWWE Women's Tag Team Championship, with the match being scheduled for the following week against reigning championsLita andBecky Lynch.[83] On the April 10 episode ofRaw, they won their title match and became the new Tag Team Champions, with Morgan winning the title for the first time individually.[84] On the April 21 episode ofSmackDown, Morgan and Rodriguez retained their titles against Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green.[85]
As part of the2023 WWE Draft, Morgan was drafted to theRawbrand.[86] On the May 19 episode ofSmackDown, Morgan and Rodriguez vacated the titles due to Morgan suffering a shoulder injury, ending their first reign at 39 days.[87] Morgan would make her return on the June 23 episode ofSmackDown.[88] AtMoney in the Bank on July 1, Morgan and Rodriguez successfully challenged Rousey and Baszler for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship; Baszler turned on her partner and attacked Rousey, opening the door for Morgan to pin her and win the match, earning Morgan and Rodriguez their second reign as the Women's Tag Team Champions.[89] On the July 17 episode ofRaw, Morgan and Rodriguez lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship toSonya Deville andChelsea Green due to Rhea Ripley attacking them backstage before their match, ending their second reign at 16 days.[90] The following week, Morgan was scheduled to face Ripley, however, the match never began as Ripley viciously attacked Morgan with a steel chair.[91] This was done to write Morgan off television, as she suffered another shoulder injury.[92]
Return from 2nd shoulder injury, The Judgment Day (2024–present)
After a 6-month hiatus, Morgan returned at the2024 Royal Rumble entering the Royal Rumble match at number 30. Morgan went on to be runner-up in the match for a second year in a row, eliminatingZoey Stark andJade Cargill in the process, before being eliminated by the winner, Bayley.[93] She then took part in the women'sElimination Chamber match at thetitular event, but was the last woman eliminated byBecky Lynch.[94]
On the April 8 episode ofRaw, Morgan attackedRhea Ripley in a backstage segment, during which Ripley legitimately injured her right arm[95] and was forced to vacate theWomen's World Championship.[96] Over the next few weeks, Morgan began to display morevillainous traits. AtKing and Queen of the Ring on May 25, Morgan defeated Lynch to win the title for the second time after accidental interference from Ripley's love interest,"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio.[97] Two nights later onRaw, Morgan defeated Lynch in asteel cage match to retain her title after another accidental interference from Dominik, before forcefully kissing Dominik after the match concluded.[98] One week later, she continued her pursuit of Mysterio, believing him to have intentionally assisted her in her victories over Lynch, though members ofThe Judgment Day attempted to keep the two separated.[99] On the June 24 episode ofRaw, Morgan helped Judgment Day membersFinn Bálor andJD McDonagh defeatAwesome Truth (The Miz andR-Truth) for theWorld Tag Team Championship.[100] Two weeks later onRaw, Ripley made her return and Morgan ran off while Ripley confronted Dominik.[101] The following week, Ripley called out Morgan and challenged her to a match at SummerSlam for the title, Morgan appeared on the screen and accepted the challenge.[102]

AtSummerSlam on August 3, Morgan defeated Ripley to retain her title after interference from Dominik, giving Ripley her first pinfall loss since May 2022. After the match, Dominik turned on Ripley and kissed Morgan, officially becoming an on-screen couple and fully turning Morganheel for the first time since 2019.[103] On the following episode ofRaw, Morgan officially joinedThe Judgment Day as Ripley andDamian Priest were excommunicated from the group.[104] AtBash in Berlin on August 31, Morgan and Mysterio lost to Ripley and Priest in amixed tag team match despite interference from Bálor, McDonagh, andCarlito, with Morgan being pinned by Ripley.[105] AtBad Blood on October 5, Morgan lost to Ripley by disqualification after a returningRaquel Rodriguez attacked Ripley and allied herself with Morgan and The Judgment Day. Since championships do not change hands via disqualification or countout unless stipulated, Morgan remained champion.[106] AtCrown Jewel on November 2, Morgan defeatedWWE Women's ChampionNia Jax to win the inauguralWWE Women's Crown Jewel Championship after interference from Mysterio and Rodriguez.[107] On the November 11 episode ofRaw, Morgan and Rodriguez failed to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship fromBianca Belair andJade Cargill.[108] AtSurvivor Series: WarGames on November 30, Morgan participated in her firstWarGames match alongside Rodriguez, Jax,Tiffany Stratton, andCandice LeRae against Ripley, Belair,Bayley,Iyo Sky, andNaomi in a losing effort, with Morgan being pinned by Ripley.[109] AtSaturday Night's Main Event on December 14, Morgan defeated Sky to retain the title.[110] At thepremiere ofRaw on Netflix, Morgan lost the title to Ripley despite interference from Mysterio and Rodriguez, ending her reign at 226 days.[111]
After losing the title, Morgan began exclusively teaming with Rodriguez. At theRoyal Rumble on February 1, Morgan entered thenamesake match at #2, lasting over an hour and eliminatingNatalya andAlexa Bliss before being eliminated by Jax.[112] On the February 24 episode ofRaw, Morgan and Rodriguez defeated Belair and Naomi to win theWWE Women's Tag Team Championship for a record-setting third time after interference from Mysterio.[113] Morgan and Rodriguez lost the titles toLyra Valkyria and the returning Lynch at Night 2 ofWrestleMania 41,[114] but regained them in a rematch the next night onRaw.[115] They also defended the title on NXT on April 22, where they defeatedGigi Dolin andTatum Paxley. On the June 16 episode ofRaw, Morganlegitimately suffered adislocated shoulder during a match againstKairi Sane, leading toRoxanne Perez joining The Judgment Day and replacing Morgan as champion. WWE recognizes this as a separate reign, thus ending Morgan's reign with Rodriguez at 70 days.[116][117]
Daddio has a tattoo on the back of her neck, reading "11–21–17", which is colored blue, red, and green. Her tattoo matches with former Riott Squad teammates Dori Prange (best known asRuby Riott) and Sarah Rowe (best known asSarah Logan), as they all got the same tattoo to commemorate the date of their main roster debut.[126][127]
Daddio was in a relationship with fellow professional wrestler Eric Arndt, better known asEnzo Amore.[128] Their relationship ended when Daddio accused Arndt of cheating on her.[129]
By November 2020, Daddio had taken up a course to become a real estate agent at the Bob Hogue School of Real Estate.[130]
On December 14, 2023, Daddio was arrested for possession ofcannabis (not more than 20 grams) and possession of acannabis vape pen, thought to be containing synthetic cannabinoids, inSumter County, Florida. The sheriff's deputy reportedly saw her vehicle crossing over the white and yellow lines of a County road.[132] Daddio was then booked into the Sumter County Jail and then released after posting a $3,000 bond.[133]
