Litke Strait (Russian:Пролив Литке,Proliv Litke) is a strait in theKaraginsky Gulf in theBering Sea, located off the northeastern coast of theKamchatka Peninsula, inKamchatka Krai of theRussian Far East. It separates theKaraginsky Island from the peninsula's mainland.
Thestrait is named after explorerFyodor Petrovich Litke.[1]
