Lithium tellurite is aninorganic compound, with the chemical formula Li2TeO3. It crystallises in themonoclinic crystal system, with space groupC2/c.[1] It can be prepared by reactinglithium oxide,[2]lithium hydroxide[3] orlithium carbonate[4] withtellurium dioxide. It reacts withlithium fluoride at high temperatures in a 3:1stoichiometric ratio to obtain Li7(TeO3)3F.[4]
