This article lists the individuals to have served asMain Opposition Leader ofTurkey, since the inception of therepublican period in 1923. The Main Opposition Leader (Turkish:Ana Muhalefet Lideri) is theleader of the largestpolitical party in theGrand National Assembly that is not incabinet.

Except for two brief periods (1924–25 and 1930), there were no opposition leaders in theone-party period. Furthermore, there were no opposition leaders during the periods ofmilitary dictatorships in themulti-party period (1960–61 and1980–83).[1][2][3]
