Acomputer system is a nominally completecomputer that includes thehardware,operating system (mainsoftware), and the means to useperipheral equipment needed and used for full or mostly full operation. Such systems may constitutepersonal computers (includingdesktop computers,portable computers,laptops,all-in-ones, and more),mainframe computers,minicomputers,servers, andworkstations, among other classes of computing.
