Colomba pasquale, theItalian Easter bread. It is the Easter counterpart of the two well-knownItalian Christmas desserts,panettone andpandoro.

This is alist of almond foods and dishes, which usealmond as a primary ingredient. The almond is a species of tree native to theMiddle East andSouth Asia. "Almond" is also the name of the edible and widely cultivatedseed of this tree. Within the genusPrunus, it is classified with thepeach in the subgenusAmygdalus, distinguished from the other subgenera by the corrugated shell (endocarp) surrounding the seed. The fruit of the almond is adrupe, consisting of an outer hull and a hard shell with the seed (which is not atrue nut) inside.
