ExpressToll is also part of the Central United States Interoperability Hub. With the Central Hub, most of Colorado toll facilities (The Northwest Parkway currently not included) will now accept transponders issued in Kansas, Texas (TxTag and EZTag will be accepted in the near future) or Oklahoma.
Toll tags accepted on all Colorado tolled Express Lanes include: ExpressToll, TollTags, K-TAG, and Pikepass. With no compatible toll tag, drivers can be billed the higher license plate toll rate.[22]

E-ZPass is accepted on allCFX owned roadways.[38] As of May 2021[update], SunPass is interoperable with E-ZPass; E-ZPass is now accepted on SunPass-compatible roads while SunPass account holders now have the option to obtain a SunPass tag that can be used on E-ZPass toll roads.
In Florida, all vehicles in managed lanes are required to have aSunPass, E-Pass,E-ZPass,Peach Pass, orNC Quick Pass to use the lanes. The Lee Roy Selmon Express lanes permitsToll by plate travel as well as the use of transponders.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, the transportation authorities are planning a whole network of HOT lanes.[97]
Riverside County is recognized by theCalifornia Transportation Commission (CATC) as having a traffic congestion problem second only to Los Angeles.[100]
Los Angeles County has a plan in place that has been approved by the California legislature.[101] They have received a grant for $213.6 million from theUSDOT (United States Department of Transportation). This plan will be implemented in two phases, although it is currently unknown when those phases will take place.[102]
Both phases are for the conversion of HOV lanes to HOT lanes.
