This is a list of Malaysianstates andfederal territories sorted by theirgross domestic product (GDP).[1][2]

As of 3 November 2022, theMalaysian Ringgit (symbol: RM, currency code: MYR) is equivalent to 0.211United States dollar[3] or 0.213Euros.[4]

In 2024, the three largest contributors to Malaysia's GDP areSelangor (25.9%),Kuala Lumpur (15.9%) andJohor (9.6%).[5][6] GDP per capita also varied widely across the country, with Kuala Lumpur,Labuan,Penang andSarawak classified ashigh-income economies as of 2022[update].[7]

The following table is the list of the GDP of Malaysian states released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia.[8][9]

Data for 2024 estimates (US$ 1 = MYR 4.58 at 2024 average market exchange rate,[10] international $ (I$) using 2024 PPP conversion factor from World Bank (I$ 1 = MYR1.40)[11])
