General-purpose engines

[edit]

Current Honda general-purpose engines areair-cooled4-stroke gasoline engines but2-stroke,Diesel,water-cooled engines were also manufactured in the past. The current engine range provide from 1 to 22hp (0.7 to 16.5kW).

More than 5 million general-purpose engines were manufactured by Honda in 2009.
Approximately 70% of the general-purpose engines manufactured by Honda are supplied asOEM engines to other manufacturers of power products.
