TheBuffalo Sabres are a professionalice hockey team based inBuffalo,New York, United States. The Sabres are members of theAtlantic Division of theEastern Conference in theNational Hockey League (NHL). Founded as an expansion franchise in 1970, the Sabres have had ninegeneral managers since the team's inception.[1]
