Ancient town in Anatolia

Linus orLinos (Λῖνος), alsoLinum orLinon (Λίνον), was a town on the coast ofancient Mysia, on thePropontis, betweenPriapus andParium. It is noted byStrabo as the spot where the best snails were found.[1]

Its site is located inAsiatic Turkey.[2][3]
