Lindsay Haines Knapp (born February 25, 1970) is an American former professionalfootball player who was aguard in theNational Football League (NFL) for theKansas City Chiefs andGreen Bay Packers. He playedcollege football for theNotre Dame Fighting Irish. He was a member of the Packers'Super Bowl XXXI championship team.
Knapp grew up inDeerfield, Illinois, where he was a standout athlete. He was an all-state lineman forDeerfield High School and won theGatorade Player of the Year award for Illinois during his senior year. After high school, he attended theUniversity of Notre Dame, where he earned anMBA and was again a stand-outoffensive lineman.
Knapp was selected by Kansas City in the fifth round of the1993 NFL draft (130th overall).[1] He played four years before being placed on waivers by Green Bay. He currently works as a bond salesman.[2]
