Linda Salzman (July 16, 1940 – November 22, 2023) was an American artist and writer.
Salzman Sagan created the artwork for theplaque on the Pioneer spacecraft[1] and coproduced theVoyager Golden Record.[2]
Salzman Sagan co-authored the bookMurmurs of Earth with her husband,astronomerCarl Sagan, whom she married on April 6, 1968; the marriage lasted until their divorce in 1981.[3]
Salzman Sagan was the mother of author and screenwriterNick Sagan.[2]
