Linas Klimavičius (born 10 April 1989) is a Lithuanian professionalfootballer who plays as adefender forPanevėžys and theLithuania national team.
Klimavičius started his career as a teenage prodigy withEkranas and then was promoted to the main-squad team. During 2008–2012, he played in the Ukrainian football clubs.[1] He made a single appearance in theUkrainian Premier League in a match for FC Dnipro againstMetalurh Donetsk on 19 October 2008.[2]
In January 2019, Klimavičius signed a contract withLiga I clubDinamo București.[3] One year later, in January 2020, he was released after 28 games played for Dinamo (27 in Liga I and one game in Cupa României).[4]
On 12 January 2020, Klimavičius signed a contract withLiga I clubFC Politehnica Iași.[5]
In 10 September he signed a contract with Lithuanian championsFK Sūduva.[6]
