TheNational Liberal Party (Spanish:Partido Liberal Nacional) was aliberal party inPanama.[1] The party was an observer atLiberal International.

The party was formed in 1903 out of the Panamanian branch of theColombian Liberal Party, shortly after Panama declared independence.

The PLN merged withSolidarity Party (Partido Solidaridad) to form the newPatriotic Union Party (Unión Patriótica) in 2009.
