Li Na (Chinese:李娜;pinyin:Lǐ Nà; born 9 March 1981 inDandong,Liaoning)[1] is a Chineseépéefencer. She won a bronze medal in the women's team épée event at the2000 Summer Olympics,[2][3] and won gold in the same event at the2012 Summer Olympics.
Li won the gold medal in the épée team event at the2006 World Fencing Championships, after beatingFrance in the final. She accomplished this with her teammatesLuo Xiaojuan,Zhang Li andZhong Weiping. Li also reached fourth place in the individual épée event at the2008 Summer Olympics, losing the play-off for third place 15–11 toIldikó Mincza-Nébald ofHungary. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Li won gold in the women's team épée event withXu Anqi, Luo Xiaojuan andSun Yujie.
