Lev Vasilyevich Platonov (Russian:Лев Васильевич Платонов; born 10 May 1940) is a Russian professionalfootball coach and a former player.
The highest level he managed at was the second-tier1999 Russian First Division and2000 Russian First Division withFC Kristall Smolensk.
Later he managedFC Terek Grozny early in the 2002 season of theRussian Second Division.[1] Terek was promoted to theRussian First Division at the end of the season, Platonov was replaced as a manager by that time.
