Letícia Persiles (Portuguese:[leˈtʃisiɐpeʁˈsilis]; born 2 January 1983) is a Brazilian actress[1] and singer[2] who played the lead role in the telenovelaAmor Eterno Amor.
Born inRio de Janeiro,[1] Letícia Persiles has a son with her husband, the directorLuiz Fernando Carvalho, who she met for the first time during the filming of the 2008 miniseriesCapitu.[3]
She played the teenage Capitu in theRede Globo miniseriesCapitu, based on the bookDom Casmurro, by Brazilian writerMachado de Assis.[4] Letícia Persiles played the lead role in the 2012 telenovelaAmor Eterno Amor[5] as the journalist Miriam Allende,[6] who is the main romantic interest of the character played byGabriel Braga Nunes.[7] Letícia Persiles replacedCarol Castro, who was originally cast to play the lead role of the telenovela.[8] She playsAlinne Moraes best friend, Anita, in the 2015 telenovelaAlém do Tempo.[9]
