Leslie Lyness (born August 7, 1968 inPaoli, Pennsylvania) is a formerfield hockey midfielder from theUnited States, who was a member of the US women's team that finished fifth at the1996 Summer Olympics inAtlanta, Georgia. Her first selection came in 1990.She won a bronze medal at the1995 Pan American Games.[1]
In 1990, while atNorth Carolina, Lyness won the Honda Award (now theHonda Sports Award) as the nation's best field hockey player.[2][3][4]
