Leonhard Reichartinger (?? – 1396) was aCrusader ofBavarian nobility, who may have come from the vicinity ofTrostberg. Reichartinger participated in one of the last great crusades of the Middle Ages, theBattle of Nicopolis. The Nicopolis Crusade was ordered bySigismund, Holy Roman Emperor and King ofHungary against theOttoman sultanBayezid I. Reichartinger was killed in the battle. His death is mentioned inJohann Schiltberger's account of the battle.
