Leonardo Alfredo Ramos Girón (born 11 September 1969) is a Uruguayanfootball manager and former player who played as amidfielder.[1] He is the current manager of Saudi clubAl-Bukiryah.
Ramos played forVélez Sársfield,Banfield,Estudiantes de La Plata,River Plate andChacarita Juniors in thePrimera División de Argentina.[2] He had two spells withSalamanca in the SpanishSegunda División.[3] He also had a brief spell in Chile forColo-Colo.[4]
Ramos made eight appearances for the seniorUruguay national football team from 1991 to 2000,[1] including fiveFIFA World Cup qualifying matches.[5]
In May 2018, it was announced that Ramos would leave Peñarol and joinAl-Ettifaq.[6]
On 15 April 2024, Ramos was appointed as manager of Saudi Pro League sideAl-Tai until the end of the 2023–24 season.[7]
On 31 January 2025, Ramos was appointed as manager of Saudi First Division clubAl-Bukiryah.[8]
