Leonard Casimir Fons (October 30, 1903 – May 25, 1956) was anAmerican lawyer andRepublican politician. He was a member of theWisconsin State Senate from 1931 to 1935 representing southernMilwaukee County.
Fons was born on October 30, 1903, inMilwaukee,Wisconsin. His father,Louis Fons, was also a member of the Senate, having represented the8th District. Fons went toMarquette University High School andCampion High School inPrairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He then graduated fromMarquette University and received his law degree fromGeorgetown University Law Center. Fons practiced law in Milwaukee.[1] He died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 25, 1956, of a stroke.[2]
Fons was a member of the Senate from 1931 to 1934 as aRepublican. In 1940, he was a candidate for theUnited States House of Representatives fromWisconsin's 4th congressional district as a member of theWisconsin Progressive Party, losing toThaddeus Wasielewski.
