Leonard Bilson (1616–1695) wasM.P. forPetersfield during the late 17th century.[1]
Bilson was born on 5 December 1616, the third (second surviving) son of SirThomas BilsonMP of West Mapledurham and his wife Susanna, daughter of SirWilliam UvedaleMP. He was educated atUniversity College, Oxford,[2] graduatingB.A. on 5 February 1635, andM.A. on 31 October 1637. His sonThomas succeeded him as MP.[3]
