Leo Wellens (born 14 March 1959) is a Belgian formercyclist. He competed in theteam time trial event at the1980 Summer Olympics.[1] He is the brother of fellow racing cyclistsPaul andJohan Wellens and the father of cyclistTim Wellens. At the1981 Tour de France, he and his brothers all rode for theSunair–Sport 80–Colnago team asdomestiques forFreddy Maertens.[2]
