Le Pouget (French pronunciation:[ləpuʒɛ];Occitan:Lo Poget) is acommune in theHéraultdepartment in theOccitanieregion in southernFrance. It contains theGallardet dolmen.
Le Pouget is situated on the sides of two valleys, Aumelas and Clermont L'Hérault. The centre of the commune is at the entrance to the medievalcirculade. The clay soil favoursviticulture. The riverHérault is 2 km from the centre.

The village was known for itscirculade in the Middle Ages in the time ofLouis XIV. The prehistoricdolmen Gallardet (or dolmen de Pouget) is a notable sight in the village.
