Le Muy (French pronunciation:[ləmɥi];Occitan:Lo Muei) is acommune inVar, adepartment in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azurregion in southeastern France.
Le Muy was one of the first places to be liberated in theAllied invasion ofSouthern France in August 1944. It lies to the southeast ofDraguignan and north-northwest ofSaint-Tropez.
