Lauren Brazzale (born 5 November 1993) is anAustralian rules footballer who plays forRichmond in theAFL Women's (AFLW) competition. She has previously played in the AFLW forCarlton andCollingwood.
Brazzale was drafted byCarlton with the club's eighth selection and the sixty second overall in the2016 AFL Women's draft.[1] She made her debut in Round 1,2017, in the club and the league's inaugural match atIkon Park againstCollingwood.[2] Brazzale finished 2017 having played in all seven of Carlton's matches that season.[3] She signed a 2-year contract withCarlton on 10 June 2021, after it was revealed the team had conducted a mass re-signing of 13 players.[4]
In June 2022, Brazzale was traded toCollingwood in exchange forAmelia Velardo.[5] In November 2024, Brazzale was delisted by Collingwood.[6]
After impressing in theVFL Women's withSandringham, Brazzale was signed by AFLW clubRichmond.[7]
