Lawrence David Glueck (October 5, 1941 – September 2, 2025) was an American professionalfootball player who was adefensive back for three seasons with theChicago Bears of theNational Football League (NFL). Glueck playedcollege football for theVillanova Wildcats, appearing in the 1961 Sun Bowl and the 1962 Liberty Bowl. He was selected by Chicago in the third round of the1963 NFL draft and was part of the Bears'1963 NFL Championship team.[1]
Glueck died on September 2, 2025, at the age of 83.[2]
Glueck was the head football coach forFordham University from 1986 to 1993, and had previously served as an assistant coach atHarvard,Penn,Villanova andLehigh.
