Lanham is anunincorporated community andcensus-designated place inPrince George's County, Maryland, United States.[2] As of the2020 United States census, it has a population of 11,282.[3] TheNew Carrollton station (the terminus of theWashington Metro'sOrange Line) as well as anAmtrak station are across theCapital Beltway inNew Carrollton, Maryland. Doctors Community Hospital is located in Lanham.[4]
TheThomas J. Calloway House was listed on theNational Register of Historic Places in 2005.[5]
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Lanham has a total area of 3.6 square miles (9.2 km2), of which 3.5 square miles (9.1 km2) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 km2), or 0.54%, is water.[6]
