Landon D. Huffman (born January 30, 1996) is an Americanstock car racing driver and team owner. He will compete full-time in theCARS Late Model Stock Car Tour and theVirginia Triple Crown, in the No. 57Chevrolet Camaro for Carroll Speedshop, full-time in the late model stock division at Tri-County Speedway, in the No. 75 for his own team and part-time in theNASCAR Whelen Modified Tour andSMART Modified Tour, in the No. 98 for Shamrock Motorsports.[2] Huffman has previously raced in theNASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He is the son ofRobert Huffman.

Personal life

Landon's father is former NASCAR driverRobert Huffman. Robert won two track championships atHickory Motor Speedway and five championships in theGoody's Dash Series.[3][4]

Landon has aYouTube channel where he posts videos about his racing career and his short track program, along with all of his friends who help out on his team, such as RJ Williams, Seth Brotherton, Rich Hudson, and Kenny "Guttman" Little. He currently has 27K subscribers.[1]

In April 2021, Landon married his high school sweetheart, Brooke.

Racing career

Gander Outdoors Truck Series

Huffman drove in two races in 2017. He made his Truck Series debut in Bristol, driving the No. 63 truck forMB Motorsports. There he finished 20th.[5][6] Later that season, he returned at Martinsville, driving the No. 83 truck for MB Motorsports. He improved on his last result, finishing 17th on the lead lap.

On January 22, 2018,NextGen Motorsports announced that the team would like to have Huffman drive between ten and fifteen races in the2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season.[7] However, the deal fell through.

On October 12, 2018, it was announced that Huffman joinedNiece Motorsports' No. 38 truck at Martinsville.

In August 2019, Huffman replaced an injuredSpencer Boyd in the No. 20 ofYoung's Motorsports at Eldora.[8]

Xfinity Series

On January 22, 2018,NextGen Motorsports announced that they would like to have Huffman drive for the team in five 2018NASCAR Xfinity Series events, starting at Bristol in April.[9] However, the deal never came to fruition.

Late Models

Huffman won the track championship atHickory Motor Speedway (a track which his father,Robert Huffman won two championships) in 2022 for Jason Smith Racing. In 2023, Huffman partnered with High Rock Vodka and Bumgarner Propane for his own No. 75 Huffman Racing effort, which included a few wins along the way at both Hickory &Tri-County Speedway, including a win at Hickory in which hisChevrolet Camaro late model had been modified to resemble anOldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.[10][11][12]Additionally, Huffman was signed mid-season to drive the No. 22Chevrolet Camaro forNelson Motorsports in theCARS Tour Late Model Stock division. This allowed Huffman to secure his first win in the series atTri-County Speedway.[13] For 2024, Huffman is slated to drive the No. 37Chevrolet Camaro for Jimmy Mooring Racing in the CARS Tour Late Model Stock division Full-Time in 2024,[14] as well as running his own No. 75 High Rock Vodka machine part-time across short tracks in located in the Carolinas, such asTri-County Speedway,Caraway Speedway,Wake County Speedway, andFlorence Motor Speedway. He started off his 2024 campaign by running the No. 98 Shamrock Motorsports sponsored by High Rock Vodka atNew Smyrna Speedway for their World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.

Spotting

Huffman previously was the spotter forZane Smith and hisMDM Motorsports team in theARCA Racing Series,[15] and Anthony Alfredo's MDM entry in theNASCAR K&N Pro Series East.[16]

Esports

In 2019, Huffman founded esports team Total Advantage, which competes inCall of Duty games andiRacing Road to Pro.[17]
